By now you have probably tested it and know the answer. However, Cyberpower states that high current draw appliances should not be plugged in to this unit. I would guess your chair falls into this category.

S battery backup system, I would look it up online and it would probably tell you amperage and all that good stuff of what 1 to buy a probably should be a device , that has the ability to run your recliner.

The power recliner contains a motor that draws a high inrush current that the battery back-up system is not capable of supporting.
