Q: QuestionDoes this have outlets for 3-prog plugs? And is it actually a battery backup, or just a surge protector?

• A:Answer This unit has 3 prong plugs, yes. It is a battery back up + surge protector. Make sure the devices you plug into this particular model dont go over the rated watts. I have two servers plugged into this unit and (OR700LCDRM1U) that are well within the 400 watt rating. All I required was a graceful shutdown and this unit provides that.
