• Hello srhansen, The audible alarm can be turned OFF or ON by quickly pressing the POWER button twice. To turn the Alarm back ON, quickly press the power button twice. You will hear a single short beep when the Alarm is turned On. Thank you for your question.

• I thought tossing across the room may help, but it didn't. Luckily for it, it still functioned. Then I learn press the power button twice really quick. Lol.

• As others reported, a quick double press of the power button will toggle the audible alarm off. However, software from CyberPower for this model (downloaded from their web site) will also allow you to turn off the alarm. It will also monitor battery strength. I use a laptop with its own battery, also supplemented by the power supply, to track the device. It connects by a usb cable. Very slick system.
