“I know how to reset the battery beep alarm when there is a power outage and it comes on.. But I would rather not have to stumble around in the dark to reset it at 3 am. Is there any way to fix it so that it just takes over without the alarm?”

Here’s how you can do it: To Turn Off the Alarm: Quickly press the POWER button twice. You’ll hear two short beeps, which indicates that the alarm has been turned off. With the alarm off, you won’t hear any audible notification when the UPS reaches a low battery state. To Turn the Alarm Back On: Quickly press the POWER button twice again. You’ll hear a single short beep, which indicates that the alarm has been turned back on. This setting is useful if you don’t want to be disturbed by the alarm during a power outage, especially in the middle of the night. However, just keep in mind that with the alarm off, you won’t get an audible notification when the battery is low.
