Yes! My Sealy recliner uses a "Class2 Power Supply PD21 input 100-220 VAC/ 1.6 Amp" power supply .I plugged it into this UPS and disconnected it from mains supply and the recliner operated up and down with out a problem. The read out on the UPC amperage spiked at 1.6 amp to start and settled at about 0.8 amps during operation..This is well within the capacity of the UPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the recliner is 120V, you've got a pretty good shot at it. I don't know how much current a power recliner draws and my quick Internet search was fruitless. Motors are pretty big power hogs, but I would assume the motor for a recliner is relatively small since these things move slowly. If it's less than 850 VA as I would expect, you should be good. You could always buy a bigger UPS if you're concerned. The best answer is to consult your owner's manual to see what the power demand is to make sure you're good.
