• Yes, the CP1500PFCLCD wave form is pure sine wave. It was designed specifically to support PSUs with ActivePFC.

• I'll answer my own question. This performs beautifully. I tried 4 other UPS until I stumbled upon CyberPower. All other models did not maintain power to my PC power supply while the unit switched over to battery. The power supply in my PC is very particular and the time frame was too slow. This unit has never failed a test or failed me during a power outage, brownout, or surge.

• I also purchased this CyberPower UPS to replace an APC BR 1500 for the same reason you asked about: I needed pure sine wave for an newer Apple iMac that supposedly has an Active PFC power supply. So far no issues.
