The Best Buy site calls out 2600x in the verbiage for the product. I bought one just prior to the generation update. It was supposed to ship in May with a R5 1600x. It was delivered early with an R7 1700x. The extra cores don’t matter for my purposes. I’m saying that I’d expect the SKU to ship with a minimum R5 2600x due to the current description. Best of luck, I’ve been happy with the value from my previous generation processor.
