Yes and Yes. I just bought one and upgraded to 16GB RAM, made a recovery disk and then dropped in a 2TB hard drive. Couldn't have been easier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.System has plenty of capacity for more RAM as there are going to be at least 4 slots. SSD can be replaced for larger and it has 2 3.5" slots in the front and 2 2.5" brackets with room for a third on the back of the motherboard
