Depends on motherboard. Your question reads like yours is an Asus Prime B550 plus. In that case you can use the m2 slot but it will disable 1 of your 3 sata slots (sata6G_56). You still have 2 other sata connectors that should support an ssd drive.

Regarding the M.2_2 slot it depends on the motherboard that you receive with your system.
