It is a regular computer, but with graphics and processor geared towards gaming. More power than you need to do every day web browsing and microsoft office tasks. My son uses for streaming while gaming as well and he tried one model down, but it was not enough, this one is plenty. If looking for a regular every day computer, you might want to save money and buy one geared towards your needs. My son uses his for everything now, college, microsoft office, gaming, streaming, loves it. Barely touches the capabilities it has he says. More than he needs, but just enough compared to the last one. Nice perk is you can directly connect two monitors to it.
