Thanks for reaching out Henry2700X. The motherboard should support the AM4 socket as it does use the Ryzen 5 1600, so it should be compatible with the Ryzen 7 series. All components inside the PC are upgradable, however, please make sure they are compatible with your motherboard and other components inside the PC.
