• No. The key is built into the motherboard, when you reinstall Windows you won't need to type one in. Also you can make an install disc/usb dongle thru windows.

• This does not come with an OS CD. But within the MSI software and/or windows 10 you can create an install disk/drive to make a restore disk which will perform the re-install.
