“When I use my headphones my microphone picks up both my desktop and normal mic how do I fix this”

You should be able to go into Settings and connected devices and look for your headphones and say you want to only use that one. Or it will pick up both and use both. I was getting sound from my headphones and desk speakers until I switched to just my headphones. Similar to what is going on with your mic.
