• The Realtek sound is integrated into the motherboard. But you should be able to add any sound card you want assuming it uses an available expansion slot on the motherboard.

• Just bought this unit. The Realtek Sound is on the motherboard. If you want to add your own preferred sound card, there are plenty of slots for you to add. I am not a big Gamer, but the 7.1 Realtek motherboard sound is pretty impressive to me.
