I've been capturing 15-20 yr old 8mm tapes to digital mpg using VidBox connected to this computer. Then I use a movie creator program to convert the mpg to .mp4 to stream on mobile devices or burn to DVD. I haven't had any issues and the computer has handled the process really well.
