“I've been looking for a decent monitor (preferably under $60) but considering I'm a high schooler with no cash I was hoping for some recommendations. Any recommendation will be much appreciated.”

Check with Goodwill. In the Austin TX area they have a store that is dedicated to computers. If they can't repair the computer they break them down and sell the working components. They also have monitors.
