This model PC is configured with an AMD 760G chipset motherboard and will not be compatible with an AMD FX-8350 processor. In general upgrading to a higher model AMD FX processor would not require the power supply to be upgraded. The closest compatible CPU's are the AMD FX-8300, 8320E and 8370E.
