• Go to the Sound settings and change playback and recording devices.

• Please make sure the microphone is not a combination microphone / 4headphone plug with 3 contact on it as that will not work with the PC and will require a separate adapter. You will also need to make sure that microphone is set to the default recording device in Sound/Recording settings otherwise Windows will not know to use your microphone.
