• It might not be able to run The Forest that well since it doesn't meet minimum requirements. However, It can run Garry's Mod exceptionally well with everything cranked up to high, even when there is a bunch of add-ons in effect. Note that it still can lag and crash alot due to the stability of Garry's Mod, and there's bound to be problems for even people with high-end and extreme computers.

• I cannot say for the particular game but in my experience I have noticed that I have to change the low/high settings to make games run smoother. You may just have to change the setting for proper game usage.
