Thanks for reaching out. This processor is still pretty good. If you are looking to upgrade, you would need to upgrade depending on the compatibility of the motherboard as it may only use AM4 socket. You can either continue on Ryzen 5 or move up to Ryzen 7, however, it is your preference and price range.
