“I was trying to use the apple cd/dvd player but cant get it to work if it wont is there a reccomendation for a dvd drive, I didnt know it dint come with one when I bought it”

You may need to install additional software for that device to work in Windows. Please check the manufacturer of the device to check for compatibility and find out if software is needed to make that device work on a PC running Windows 10.
