Make sure that you plug your monitor into the video card in the slot, and not into the video card plug on the motherboard up top. Try using a different video plug on the card? Also when the PC is fully turned off and unplugged, make sure the video card is fully seated in the motherboard. Maybe it pulled loose a bit from shipping, and maybe all the video card pins aren't connecting properly.
