Unfortunately, you can not pick this machine up in stores. There are few select stores depending on where you live that you can ship it too. This was not the case for me. I had to have it shipped to my house. It was very well packaged and if your concern is it breaking/damaged during shipping, then do not be. Mine got to me by scheduled delivery date before 1pm actually and is a great machine!!! If you buy it I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
