- Answer Tay Tec. 1. upgrade the core i5 to the max the motherboard can handle would be the i7 2. DD5 Ram 16 one stick upgrade to anything dual I got 64gig dual 3."Do not, I repeat, do not upgrade the graphics card. You already have the best mid-market GPU available right now. Any upgrade will require a complete overhaul of the system, as any GPU upgrade above the current one will cost more than the entire PC setup. QuestionWould this run Ark survival Ascended well? I’m new to pc gaming and would like something that’s OK to game on not looking for anything outrageously good but I would like to game reasonably well

- Answer I just bought this yesterday and I was in the same boat about just looking for something decent. I played Ark SA a little after setting it up and it ran well on default. Tried it on Epic and it crashed after a little bit. Used NVIDA to preset the settings and it ran just fine. Need to mess with it more to find the best settings. I am also gonna add more RAM, to see if that helps. I'm pleased with it so far.

Questionif i up grade the i5 chip to an i7 which one 13700 or 13700F ?

- Answer Either one works as far as I know. The F after 13700 means that there is no integrated graphics. This is just as good as the other one because the pc should already have a graphics card. (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB)

QuestionI’m buying this as a gift. Do I need to get anything else - cords, monitor, software, etc.?

- Answer The only needed item to use this computer strait out of the box is a monitor. Another optional purchase would be to buy a new keyboard and mouse as the ones that come included are not top tier. One more purchase that I recommend is that you also buy speakers for the monitor because most monitors don't come with speakers.

- Answer You need to make sure an RTX 4070 is compatible with the CPU, since I’m not sure what your CPU is. It may bottleneck because the CPU may not be powerful enough to run the GPU. You can find dozens of websites that can tell you if two different specs are compatible!
