Sounds like 1 of 2 things. Could be a Loose Video Card or the Monitor is about to die. If you have a spare monitor, or even a TV if your computer has a HDMI output, hook up to it and see if you get the same issue. If you still get the same problem and your Video is not part of the Motherboard & If you are comfortable opening the case of your computer: (This is not recommended if you have little to no experience poking around the innards of a computer!) With the Power Off & Unplugged open the Case. Make sure you are Grounded to the Case by gripping a "bare" metal spot on the Case (generally the place on the back for new card installs) or by using a Grounding Strap hooked to the Case, Locate your Video Card. Look at it to see if it appears to be fully in the Socket. If it doesn't look fully seated give a gentle firm push. Don't be like Hulk (Hulk Smash!) just a good firm push. Once satisfied that the card is seated close up the case and Power up to see if the problem is solved.
