3.6 Ghz is pretty fast although some cpu have 5 ghz though the 5gHz cpus overheat and need to be liqiud cooled. The r7 3700x is a great performer and should do well for pretty much anything.

The CPU does hit 4.4 GHz from factory over clocking and it has 16 threads to multitask. Not sure what you consider fast, Win 10 boots extremely fast so I would imagine everything is running very quickly on this. Apparently Intel CPUs are a little better for gaming at this point vs the 3700X and the RX 580 is considered middle of the road these days. It's a computer, no different from any other computer. Ryzen CPUs can handle multitasking better then Intel CPUs but ultimately they do the same thing. You do get 4 memory card slots with 16 Gb memory in 2 slots so if you need/want more memory it a simple matter of just adding it assuming you know how to. At full price it is a little expensive but on sale it seems to be a good buy.
