“My Fans are running, but the fan lights are not. Is there something to turn these on or a connector I need to check..? I pushed the toggle switch located on top which is supposed to change the colors but it did nothing. Do I have a defective unit..?”

Take off metal cover, will show back of motherboard. There is a connector there that must be connected (The connector is not on the motherboard, but just in the general location, it is wired on both sides). It controls the fan LED light power. Note: the fans and lights run on separate power.
