The good thing about buying from Best Buy is they have a 14 day return window. Test the computer out during that time and see how it works for you. If you don't like it - return it! If you built a computer yourself and had any issues you would need to troubleshoot it, ship it back and wait for a new part. The parts may not be the best but research should have been done - Ryzen 3700x CPUs run hot, they like fast ram and a RX580 is an older graphics card. This is not a custom build but is about 1/2 the price of one when on sale; can't expect to get a mass produced system to run like a custom build. As far as shutting down - is it a heat problem? Play around with the fan curve in bios, have the fans spin faster if need be to see if it helps... or if within the 14 day window - return it. I've had this running every day since I bought it and the temps on the CPU rise a lot but the fans are kicking in to cool it down. I even had the CPU at 100% - software glitch I think - and it stayed on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I needed a new Desktop quickly. Went to Best Buy since they always offer great service and products before this purchase. The staff was very helpful, but did admit it would have been better for me to order one with an Intel processor than the AMD, but I couldn't wait. My trust in Best Buy overruled my gut feeling after listening to the staff. Well, this brand new computer crashes - now, I do multitask ( Chrome web surfing / Photoshop and Epson scanning ) I have to restart it way too often ( like every hour ). Too bad I didn't read your review before getting this computer. I now surf on my phone while doing the other processing. My old Win 7 desktop never crashed like this. I am thinking the RAM is not good and will have to replace/buy - faster/better RAM - hope that will help.
