What is the RAM frequency? null

Box says 6000mhz, when turned on it said 5200mhz. I checked the ram in it, it was actually 6400mhz. They for some reason had it locked to 5200mhz in Bios!? I changed it to 6400mhz in Bios and it works just fine. been running couple months now.
