It does to an extend. if you remove any device any for upgrade all warranty is voided

I recommend you get at least 1 year of Geek Squad coverage if you plan to upgrade though. That way if anything goes wrong with your PC for the first year, due to upgrades or other complications, they can fix it for you or get you a replacement.
