“I'm confused, the last response says it works with Alexa with the GE Hub, but the description says no additional hardware required. Can you please clarify?”

So, you replace the regular lightbulb with this one, with your lamp plugged into a regular AC outlet. You can control the lightbulbs once it’s set up in the c by GE app, Alexa, or Google home. I tried to set it up into the GE app, but my Google home kept taking it away. Go figure. Anyway no additional hardware is required. You control the colors and the on off switch from whichever app you choose.I put some pictures up with the colors of magenta and indigo blue today on the Best Buy store front on yelp.
