“Why are my bulbs flickering when i turn it on? i changed my dimmer switch to a LED compatible dimmer and now it just short circuits the dimmer. i’m confused”

Try resetting the bulbs and updating firmware if you have not already. Turn lights on , turn off a total 5 x. Then they will blink to reset. Once up and running, go to settings in the app and do a firmware update. You should also do a firmware update once or twice a week, ( no reset on bulbs, only firmware update).
