QuestionCan these be used in enclosed light fixtures?

- Answer We do not recommend putting these lights in a fully enclosed fixture. The reason is because LEDs dissipate their own waste heat, and are designed to do so in a very small surface area (around the surface of the bulb) LEDs therefore rely on the temperature around the bulb to be fairly low in order for the heat dissipation to work effectively. -C by GE Support

QuestionI need to know the spectrum details of these light bulbs. Sayin Soft White does not adequately describe an LED bulb. Is it perhaps 2,700 Kelvin or 3,000 Kelvin, as opposed to being a higher frequency?

Cync Direct Connect devices are able to be controlled away from home as long as they are connected to Wi-Fi and there is a Wi-Fi or data connection on the mobile device. If the device is not flashing indicating a successful reset try to install that bulb into another fixture preferably a non lamp style, and attempt to reset it and pair in that fixture. - Answer This particular case of bulbs? No. A slightly more expensive yet different of these bulbs exist, and yes, they do change color. They will say so on the box if they change color. These are just a warm yellow color and you can control their brightness by dimming them.

- Answer Short answer - yes it will work on the timer. Long answer. It will work as a normal light bulb just fine on a power timer. However you will be unable to turn the light on or off while the power is off at the timer or off at the old school light switch using the app. Do you have to use the app? No
