No, this camera has no wired network port, which means wifi is necessary. It's unfortunate that D-link decided to do this, since it was nice to have the option to have a wired connection. Setup is a bit more difficult without a network port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It relies on a home/work WiFi network only. And not high speed networks, like Verizon's 5G. It connects via a slower speed (2.4G) network only. There are no Ethernet ports to connect it to a router. The biggest problem with this camera is it goes offline and drops the connection periodically (a least once daily in my use). Meaning, if you are out of town, you see nothing if it's gone offline! The remedy is to rest the camera by using a paperclip in the Reset port or unplu/replug the power cord.
