I'm thinking of using this camera to monitor a chart recorder and a digital flow meter. The digital reading on the flow meter is similar in size to a pocket calculator. How close would the camera need to be to read the numbers? null

using the apple phone app you can expand the picture. five feet would be the max I guess.

Sorry for the delay in answering your question.
What it is is I have the camera I bought up on a shelf to keep an eye on my dogs in there dog house, it is about 7' on a shelf and it works great. I would 
recommend it to anyone.
