“How is the ice maker? We have a samsung and it is awful, now I learn samsung owns Dacor and I'm wary.”

I own this fridge (I've bought it twice because I recently moved and left the other one behind, so repurchased a second one for the new home). I love the ice maker and it make two different sizes/shapes of ice. Never had a problem with either Dacor fridge I've owned. What's your concern?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue with a Samsung fridge and I purchased this fridge. Biggest problem before was the ice maker was in the refrigerator part. This causes the ice maker to compete with the fridge as far as temp goes. Which resulted in me having to replace ice maker parts twice ina few years. With the ice maker in the freezer portion, no issues. I just wish it made ice quicker.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has 2 ice trays, nugget and small nuggets. We also have a Samsung too. Dacor has a much better ice maker.
