Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DBC117A1BSSDB-6 is intended for free-standing installation only and must allow 12.7 cm (5 inches) of space between the back, sides and top of the appliance and all adjacent walls for proper air circulation and ventilation of the unit. It is not intended to be built into a cabinet or counter. The unit also is engineered with fan forced cooling, maintaining a consistent internal temperature for even cooling. Thank you. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All I can tell you is we do not get any condensation built up in ours, as long as it is closed. You can't just lightly close it, though. You need to, not slam it, but close it firmly. Plus, if you have little ones, that get into it, it can also be locked. It's a great little fridge!
