It is also intended for free-standing installation only and is not intended to be built into a cabinet or counter. Danby DBC117A1BSSDB-6 is intended for free-standing installation only and must allow 12.7 cm (5 inches) of space between the back, sides and top of the appliance and all adjacent walls for proper air circulation and ventilation of the unit. It is not intended to be built into a cabinet or counter. The unit also is engineered with fan forced cooling, maintaining a consistent internal temperature for even cooling. Thank you.

Danby DBC117A1BSSDB-6 is equipped with an automatic defrost function and does not require manual defrosting. Defrost water from the appliance is channeled into a drip tray located above the
compressor. Heat transfer from the compressor causes the defrost water to evaporate.
