• Hi Gilley, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DBC117A1BSSDB-6 blue LED lighting can be manually operated to allow the light to remain on / to run continually while the door is closed. However, due to energy efficiency requirements for a beverage center of this size, there is no option to have the light turn on when the door opens. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn
