• Hello Mike, the mentioned model under normal conditions draws 1.0 Running Amps, and 6 Starting Amps

• This refrigerator is hi tech. It uses a manetic compressor which reduces both noise and lowers the electric requirements. Our previous refridgerator was moderately noisey but this one is almost completely noise free. Since it is new technology, I recomended you buy an extended warrenty. It's is a great refridgerator and I would recommend it to anyone.
