Does the fan run all the time null

Hi Tigger, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DDR050BLBDB-ME has an automatic fan shut off built in. When the unit is not dehumidifying, the fan will turn off within 3-5 minutes at the end of the compressor run cycle. If the fan continues to run, raise or lower the humidity setting and the fan will turn off after roughly 5 minutes. Hope this helps. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn
