“Does the auto-defrost feature require a drain and plumbing? Can it be plugged in to a regular 110 outlet?”

• Hello, Thank you for your question. The auto defrost feature on the DAR044A4BSLDD-6 doesn't require a drain as defrost water from the appliance is channeled into a drip tray located above the compressor and water from that tray is evaporated by the heat transfer from the compressor. Also, the appliance needs to be plugged into 115V power outlet. Regards, Dharmik

• Don’t know yet about the auto defrost. No freezer in this unit. Plugs into regular socket.
