You just need to buy one installation on the dash cam; just be sure to select the right one between just front dash cam install or front and rear because the installers get annoyed if you have a front/rear set and only chose a front install - probably messes up their schedule. On SSD chip, assuming you mean SD memory card? …many dash cam brands like Thinkware and Cobra include one, so read the description. There’s a couple of brands like Nextbase that won’t include one. Generally the SD cards are in stock at the store; but Nextbase likes to push their proprietary one which you should order with the cam. Finally, I’d suggest dropping your car off hours before the appointment if at all possible, especially if you have a European car (they do a nice job working on them, just hate working on them); at least my local store is always complaining about being overbooked, behind schedule, or trying to find any excuse to postpone an appointment. I find that by being early and telling them I can pick up the car whenever they usually don’t ask me to postpone (I know cause I’ve them do lots of installs this year).

The cam can be installed by Best Buy at no charge unless you want a special install of the item or additions to the item. The ssd cards I suggest purchasing a larger ssd for longer record holding times I use a 1tb card but you can use whatever you would like depending on your needs. Great Camera I do recommend it for sure. I have used others for doing ride share businesses and this one by far is better quality. Good luck on your dash cam purchase :)
