“Does the DVR need a wired internet connection or can it connect wireless? Also, I live in ND where the temperatures can be -30. I know the specs say minimum of 14 but I'm curious if anyone has installed in cooler weather and if they function.”

• Thanks for a couple of great questions! The DVR does require a wired Ethernet connection to your modem or router for smartphone viewing. In terms of temperature, the listed values are what we've test the camera down to, they can work in cooler temperatures, but length of time exposed may be a factor.
