“I bought this system hooked everything up like it says to and hooked to my 2009 Samsung tv to the HDM1 port and all it says is mode not supported. I've tried each port just to check all options but same outcome. Help please?? No# for technical support.”

• Great question Lesa, This sounds like the DVR may not be set to a compatible resolution. An HDTV from 2009 may only support 720p, the DVR will be set to 1080 resolution by default. You may need to connect it to a compatible display first to change this setting.
