From the Live view, you can save videos and snapshots directly onto the app. Yes, you would need a micro USB card that is 128GB or smaller. Yes, video can be downloaded to the device, which is easy. I’m using an iPhone. You can pull the card if you want to but that would be an inconvenience. It is a micro SD card not a full size card.
