“I read a review of the Defender Pro #21360 that said, "this product only works with old versions of Microsoft IE for remote viewing, not with Chrome, Firefox, etc." Is this true?”

Hello justme, thank you for your inquiry. Remote viewing can be accomplished in one of two ways. 1, with you smartphone or tablet using the ClearVu app or 2, by a computer. The remote viewing with a computer relies on Active X controls to view online. Only Internet Explorer is able to support this, so it is not compatible with Firefox or Chrome. If you do not wish to use Internet Explorer, you will be able to view your system using the included Netviewer software which is a standalone program.
