A: Hello justme, thank you for your inquiry. Remote viewing can be accomplished in one of two ways. 1, with you smartphone or tablet using the ClearVu app or 2, by a computer. The remote viewing with a computer relies on Active X controls to view online. Only Internet Explorer is able to support this, so it is not compatible with Firefox or Chrome. If you do not wish to use Internet Explorer, you will be able to view your system using the included Netviewer software which is a standalone program. A: Hello Good2me, thank you for your inquiry. Each camera connected to the DVR can be set independently for the following settings: continuous 24/7, scheduled recording, and motion detection. This particular kit is a 4 ch DVR, so it only allows up to 4 connected cameras.
Q: Does the storage of the video overwrite when full or stop recording?
A: It does have an automatic overwrite setting, but I haven't recorded enough to see if it works or not
A: Yes you only have to set up the login information at the box while being connected to the internet and download the app on your phone and login with username and password
