Both Sound Bars are worthy opponents. I would like to point out that the Definitive Technology Studio 3D Mini Sound Bar is designed by a well known speaker manufacturer while the Samsung unit is designed by a TV manufacture. The 3D Mini also has HEOS built-in. With HEOS, you can access millions of available songs, including thousands of Hi-Res Audio tracks, as well as your own digital library. Add up to 32 additional wireless HEOS speakers creating a whole house experience all controlled via a smart phone or tablet. The 3D Mini is compatible with Samsung Televisions. HDMI ARC is the preferred connection. We recommend a demo if at all possible.
