• Probably 12 gauge no need for anything more than that ever I use 14 gauge

• Hello, the Definitive Technology BP-9080x speakers come equipped with binding posts that can accept banana, spade, and bare wire connections. 12 gauge will be the maximum recommended if connecting using stripped bare wire.
